Oasis Outdoor Living is an exceptional company. I was originally referred by a neighbor who had been happy with their work when trying to do a grading project. Oasis had over 200 cubic yards (tons) of dirt brought in, and created exactly what I was looking for with a perfect, gentle slope in my yard, eliminating a giant crater-like area where many large pine trees had been. The communication was excellent, I paid exactly what was quoted, and I was very happy with the result. After the grading, I ran into an issue with installation of landscape trees. I was under the gun on delivery of the trees from a local nursery. Alex came out the day I called him and the crew was out within a week to dig and install the trees. They also added a drip line to my irrigation system for a reasonable price. He was truly a life saver. I cannot speak highly enough of Oasis Outdoor Living. I will be using them for all of my future projects that they handle. We're already planning on using them to expand our irrigation system and more into the future. Let me start by saying, I rarely give a 5 star rating for contracted work. We have lived in many places around the country and have used all different kinds of contractors. We have had satisfactory work done. Often times something was broken or had a mess to deal with after each job was finished. Not with Oasis! What a terrific group to work with! They listen to what you are envisioning and then make it become a reality. Hard working, competitive and punctual. Communication is outstanding!! They are very detailed in their work and are so conscientious. They took care to not cause any issues with surrounding landscape and cleaned up everything before they left. Well done Alex and John! I can't speak more highly of Alex and Scotland and the work they did on our backyard. Alex worked with us and within our budget, even going out of his way to visit and answer questions as well as draft up several renderings before ever making any commitment. Not only did he deliver an exceptional end product that reflected exactly what he rendered and quoted, he was cheaper than several other quotes we received. An old flagstone path through our wooded back yard led to a gate that connected to a neighborhood trail. Storms and years of neglect by previous homeowners had taken their toll on this path, and we reached out to Alex and the Oasis Outdoor Living team to transform it. And they did. We ended up with a beautiful paver walkway that complements our house and yard, and accurately reflects the plans. The project was delivered on time and on budget, and the team was professional, tidy and hard working. I was referred to Alex, and his company, Oasis Outdoor Living, LLC, but a trusted handyman I use. Relationships and reputations are paramount with all of the subpar individuals and companies posing as legitimate contractors. I had never worked with Alex before, so I called him up based on the recommendation I received. After his site visit and a few tweaks to the project, we settled on a start date. Alex and his crew showed up on time and put in 3 FULL work days. They were on site before 8:30 each morning and left after 6:00 each night, one night was nearly 8:00PM. That is nearly unheard of today. On the third night, my wife and I had to leave before they were done. Alex thought he would finish that night so I paid him in full for the project. Before I got home, Alex texted me at 7:45PM and said they were not going to finish that night and that they would be back in the morning. They showed up the next morning and finished the job, I had gone out of town. When I got home, everything was finished and cleaned up better than when they first arrived. I was very pleased with the workmanship and pride in the project. Alex called me out a few times to ask questions to make sure he was delivering what I wanted. We could not be happier and could not say enough about this group. They are meticulous and very detail oriented. Alex is a great communicator, always checked in to advise what the schedule looked like and let us know everything that was happening in real time. Alex would even come on a Saturday to do things so the job continued without any delays if he could help it. It was a real pleasure working with him and his team. He is very conscientious and a true breath of fresh air due to his tremendous work ethic. His pricing was more than fair, especially considering all the work involved in the project. First of all the owner, Alex, did what he said he was going to which I find unusual by today’s standards. He arrived on time. Worked longer than 8 hour days. I had been wanting to do something to camouflage the white vinyl privacy fence in my backyard. I decided on block planter boxes that I could use plantings to cover up the fence. A friend of mine had used Alex and showed me pictures of his work. I was hooked right away! Alex and Scotland did amazing work. It was very challenging on two accounts. I have two little dogs that use that backyard a lot! It is also difficult to access the backyard through the standard gate. They worked with me to make sure the dogs had their playtime outback (they even participated in the playtime!😀) Their work ethic is first class. Some days even working 12 hours. Alex even came out a couple of times on the weekend to prepare for the upcoming week. The end result was exactly what I was looking for! My only regret was that I didn’t anticipate the damage to my grass from all of the bobcat work that it took to complete the project. If I had thought of it, I would have planned repair into the budget. I know they did their best to minimize the damage and even went so far as to repair with sod some damage that occurred to my neighbors grass. Alex, owner of Oasis Outdoor Living does exceptional hardscaping . I think he can transform anything and make it beautiful. He has a vision and works with you on what you want and what will be appropriate for that space. He came out and gave us an estimate the same day we called, along with a printout of what the finished product would look like. My backyard was honestly embarrassing—weeds and renovation junk everywhere. Alex transformed it! He took the time to speak with me about my options & weigh ground cover (I’m allergic to grass but want a soft surface for kids to play). He installed turf, created a lovely flagstone path, and made my sad fire pit something to be proud of! I’ve hosted big dinners in the backyard every week since he finished!
